This Q is for the people in uk who have celebrated nov 5th Guy Fawkes ,thwarted attempt to blow the houses of parliament up.

the nearest weekend to 5th of nov is useally the time for the celebrations,due to work and school commitments of a work day-mon-fri, info for non-uk people.

Hey, What are you talking about? It's only November 4th. Give us a chance to get over Halloween and Day of the Dead.

Oh you are from a British area. A Guy Fawkes thing.

Here in the US, Guy Fawkes isn't well known, except for that V for vendetta movie that just came out.

What was the occasion? No one had fireworks around here in Texas.

Oh, okay, thanks for the explanation. Didn't think of Guy Fawkes Day. Maybe we should have Halloween fireworks! I like fireworks.

I'm an American and know the tale, but isn't it "Remember, remember the = 5th = of November"?

You guys doin' it on the 4th instead or do I know it wrong?
