Yes, I think they'll make it but only as a 7th or 8th seed. There are many competitors and contenders in the Western Conference. Some of the things that have to work out is Bobby Jackson's health, Tyson Chandler's defensive presence, and especially Peja Stojakovic's role. He needs to step up. Last game, he had only 7 points. You and other Hornets fans will not accept that. He needs to score like he did in 03-04 (tied second in league in points per game in NBA!). Lastly, I think the team will feed off energy of the crowd. This will be a great season.

Uhhhhh....YEAH! They should have made it last year but they slacked off towards the end of the season. With Bobby Jackson, Peja, and Chandler all added they are going to be really good. Chris Paul is going to be even better this year and will probably finish second or third in the league for assists/game. Everyone on the Hornets is thinking about the playoffs, and I don't see any team in the Western Conference that is going to be a surprise and take their spot in the playoffs.
