What would you consider to be a healthy argument vs. a distructive argument with your boyfriend/girlfriend?

There is no such thing as a healthy argument. Disscuss things or don't, but don't argue at all. It is a waste of precious energy. As far as a destructive arguement goes, all arguments are destructive in that things are said, accusations are made and the real problem is never addressed. Refuse to argue, set boundries ahead of time and stick to them. That is what maturity is all about. Find other ways to communicate if you can't talk to each other or get counseling. Face it abuse is abuse anyway you slice it and arguments are abusive.

a destructive argument is anything that we can't work out in the end...we may not completely agree with each other from time to time but we both try to make a compromise that makes us both happy without either one being hurt in the process.
