I have a situation where i was arrested and had my fingerprints and dna taken, the incident as ive been told by the police is a minor offence, however i do not trust another party that is involved,he has some of my clothing including a wollen hat, hairbrush, toothbrush, underwear. I have suffered a lot of anxiety due to what this person has put me through and worry about just how far he may of gone. He is a very unpredictable manic depressive but highly intelligent, please help!!

Your hair is constantly falling out, and skin cells are constantly flaking off. I'd say yeah, pretty damn good chance.

Rubbed onto paper....... well it depends what we are talking about. As I understand, you need the root of a hair to prove identity.

Blood, yes, or any biological fluid from you. As for skin...... unless you have a flake of skin or a scab from a cut then no..... you can only get fingerprints from this.

DNA can be passed from one item to another, as you were asking, but it leads to the question of how the sample of DNA would rate as evidence in a court of law. Afterall, evedence transfer is compremised, and could have come from anywhere.

Does this guy aim to implicate you in something he has done? Is he just messing? Maybe you can get there before him......

Good luck to what you need to do.

its possible for DNA to be found on clothing as it is contained within the nucleus of all cells, unless the root of your hair is found by the police though they wont be able to determine your DNA. PLUS unless they have it on file from a previous crime they wont have anything to match it to. LOL. As for rubbing it onto paper im not so sure thats possible as its seriously teeny weeny!!

Yes they could have shaken out some old dead skin and then landed on the paper. Or possible a hair could have been on the clothing.

Yes its feasible as skin cells contain DNA.

your dna is on anything your skin or hair... touches
so it is all over the clothes of yours this person has and could end up on them or be passed onto anything they touch.

Every cell in your body has your DNA, so wherever your cells go, your DNA goes with it.
