I need help. Javascript isn't on?

I can't load videos on Youtube, and it says that either I don't have the latest flash, or Javascript is off. I have that flash, but I don't even know what Javascript is. Do I already have it? Do I need to download it? what are some possible ways to get it working?

just type javascript .
just click onto the one you need.....
one of them fixes errors......
it also has downloads etc....

you have to tell what browser you are using for a fix.
