Yes, right on! We would be on an all day and all night siesta. We could all migrate to Mexico over the border between Mexico and the USA. I'll bet the Mexicans will put up machine gun nests on the entire expanse of the border and shoot anyone who even ventures to set a toe across the line. I was watching a talk show at which time the several Mexicans they had made it clear that they want back all of the land that the USA TOOK from Mexico. They had no use for America or Americans. It is very funny. I have absolutely no use for Mexicans...at least most of them.

How about just an American for president? Someone who is looking out for ALL Americans. With everything that's going on I seriously doubt 2008 is possible at all. Look how long we've been waiting for a suitable female or black American.

Hmmm... I don't know about "very nice". America is known as the melting pot, but I am not sure we're ready for a Mexican American president. Haven't we lost enough of our national identity as it is?
We have so many nationalities here, which is OK, but in an effort to be as PC as possible (God for bid we offend anyone) we have lost our self image. Every other country has their own unique culture. Ours is disappearing on a daily basis. I think enough's enough.

I don't care what color or race he or she is as long as they put the country ahead of everything. That includes kickbacks from starting unnecessary wars. Everyone in there in the past 50 years has always got something for themselves because as far as being a leader (CEO) the president is underpaid. They have to get money from somewhere when their time in the white house is up.

well 1st of all, the constitution prohibits an immigrant from being president
now for a person of mexican decent, such as Alberto Gonzalez. Prolly around 2020-2025.

You have to born an american citizen to be the president of the united states...which would make you American...so we could never have a mexican amwerican or african american or even an irish american...if you're born here you're American get used to it!

He replaced into elected by using all that voted for him - hispanic, caucasian, african-american, muslim, atheist, mixed race. . . He had the commonplace and electoral votes to win - and he gained. And there you bypass. no person team of persons are "responsible" for the election - all that voted for him are.

I think who ever wants to run for president let them. Anyone can do a better job than bush. I don't think they will win, but would be nice if they tried.
