I start with a big package of stuffing mix from the grocery store. Then I toss in chopped apple, chopped onion, chopped celery and some raisins. Wet it all down with some chicken boullion and mix it all up. That's the way we like it.
We try to make enough for stuffing the turkey and some to have in a side cassarole for later rerun meals.

My dressing is sage, onion, bread.

Rip up a loaf of bread into small pieces and place in bowl.

Dice up a very large cooking onion or three smaller ones, two-three stalks of celery. Place in bowl with the bread.

Dice up 2 apples, after you've cored and peeled them and place in bowl.

Throw in either 2 heaping handfuls of craisins( orange or original flavour) or sultana raisins, two handfuls of walnut pieces or chopped almonds.

A handful of poultry dressing, two good long shakes of garlic salt, parsely, rosemary, sage and salt and pepper to taste.

Take 2-3 tablespoons of margarine or soft butter and mix it together with bread mixture in bowl.

Now either put it in cheesecloth in the turkey as well as in the neck part, OR put it in a pan to be cooked at least 45 minutes before the turkey comes out.

If doing it in the turkey cook your turkey the normal way you do it.

After bring your turkey out to rest before carving clean out cavaities where the dressing is , put into a warming dish and keep it warm in oven until ready to be plated.

This is my mum's recipe and all my friends love my dressing/stuffing.

I can't tell you exact ingredients because I make my dressing to taste but I can tell you what I put in it and I think it is yummy.

Seasoned bread crumbs- usually 1 big bag
onion-chopped
celery- chopped into fine pieces
chicken broth
I usually add "allspice" to it as well.
