There hasn't really been a good face up picture of InuTashio. There are several fan-drawn pictures, but none that are official. The only picture I was able to find that looked almost face-up was at

Inutaisho was already injured making him weakened and rushing to help Inuyasha's mother was kind of foolish decision, but what does that matter when love was involved? Sesshomaru thought he was stupid.
