i've taking care of my cousins, who were babies before, and i noticed that all of them smiles while they are sleeping.

Babies dream as well---the smiles could be resulting from a good dream :) they are very cute when they are sleeping...and the smiles make them even cuter!

I have heard 2 different reason why!
1. They are laughing and playing with angels.
2. They are dreaming of playing with the placenta.

They probably have gas if there baby babys. If there a bit older there probably replaying the day in there little heads and laughing at us for making all the silly faces and talking baby talk to them. lol

my doctor says babies tend to smile when relieving themselves in their sleep. though i like to think my son does it simply because he is happy :)
