NO NO NO! It has aspirin in it, and that's a blood thinner. Stay away from all aspirin products.
A couple things I found that helped (but not eliminated) morning sickness:
1) This stuff called Emetrol. It's sold over the counter and it's for nausea. My doctor gave me the OK.
2) Lemon Drop Candies - Don't know why, but it took the edge off.
3) Motion Sickness Bands that are worn on your wrists. The combo of all three of these together really got me through it.
If it gets too bad, though, your doctor can give you medication, but that's only when it reaches the unbearable level and you are getting dehydrated or not gaining weight.

No, alka seltzer is not reccomended for pregnant women as it could cause problems with your baby. Morning sickness is an awful experience all of us women have to go through at one point being pregnant and all. I always ate saltine crackers and drank pickle juice. The sourness and the saltiness helped with my major morning sickness a lot. Plus, I was craving it =). But yeah, sour and salty foods are very good for morning sickness so try that. There are also some new preggy pops on the market for stoach upset during pregnancy. I havent tried them but heard they work well for some. Good Luck!

Sorry, alka seltzer has aspirin in it. No can do. Aspirin is linked to Ryes Syndrome in children. Pregnant women and children should not use aspirin.
Peppermint candies, dry crackers helped me. Also try eating and drinking separately. Eat, then an hour or so later, drink. That helped me too.

She should ask her doctor first. Number one alka seltzer has nothing in it that would "combat" morning sickness Morning sickness is not caused by gas, or anything the woman has eaten or drank. It is caused by the changes in her entire body.

I am unsure as to whether it is any good for pregnant women, but I do know that a brand named Dexal didnt do me any harm. When I was pregnant I had a weird craving for the stuff and in the end my husband hid the bottle so I couldnt take it. I would perhaps ask your doctor if it is okay.
