Whats a good program to record good songs for a band with a mixer?

i need a program where u can record and mix and stuff and thats easy and good to use and clear

there is a program called Band in a Box that many musicians who do PC mixing use. i haven't used it, but close friends have. i personally use a digital recording studio called the Boss BR-900. this model has a built in cd burner in it and goes for about $600 and stores the projects on a media card. i bought mine from musicians supply. hope this helps ya.
