My daughter is only 3 and I can tell you that she is not going to have a Bratz doll. Shameful those are, have you seen the Bratz Babyz? Pedophiles dream doll. Manufacturers should be ashamed of themselves, but I guarantee you they are laughing all the way to the bank.

i completely agree with you. the bratz dolls make me sick. i mean, just for starters they're called "bratz". why would a parent buy their child a doll called a brat. and while yes, barbie is impossibly proportioned, when i was a kid her commercials were like, babysitting kristi and picknicking with ken, not going clubbing. i definately think little girls are getting introduced to teenage/adult culture way to quickly. I don't mind the boyfriend bit, and some of their things like the little sewing machine are cute, but i think the over-all message they send with their clothes, "attitudes", and values that seem to rest only on fashion and looking hott are sending a bad message to little girls about what's important and what being a woman is about. I gues that's more an opinion than an answer, but kudos to you for bringing it up!

You should put this question in parenting, but I agree, there are too many dolls out there who leave too little to the imagination. Wrong morals we are going for here. I do not buy Bratz for my daughter.

The sad part is that while the dolls are repulsive, the parents buy them for their daughters (last I checked, 7 year olds lacked things like jobs and credit cards). The problem isn't the dolls.

I think that rigth!! When I saw those dolls for the first time... I thought.. they were wholly un appropriate .... I would never buy those dolls for a young girl.... and don't pay attentin to the lady above me.... you can ask questions to get peoples opinions on here.... she doesn't own yahoo answers...

Barbies are much better. They have boyfriends, but thats it. no tiny clothes, no humunguous lips, not partying limo.
