I don't know that it has an actual term, but I'd call it gender-bending, since she obviously wants to eliminate their appearance while in public. She may not want to get rid of them completely (which would be transsexuality), but an act of transgenderism by looking more androgynous or even masculine for doing so. Or, as is true for many lesbians, it can be about shame of the feminine parts of the body, which are only to be revealed in very private circumstances.

They use a variety of things- Ace bandages, sports bras, speciality binders that can be bought.

I think you're referring to binding. Basically, it's wrapping them very tight to try to hide them. The materials used vary from tight bandages around the chest to professional binders.

i dont think its called anything...
they can use small bras to keep them down,
tight undershirts that smash them down,
or even tape them down.
... probly other things too.
but i wouldnt know.
