Does anyone know of any way to clean an iPod without having to buy a special product or something?
I have a 5G iPod video.

There should be a satin-like wiper in the ipod case...Use it.
Or, take a CLEAN cloth, damp it with water, and clean it. Make sure your iPod's on hold if you're cleaning the wheel so it won't mess your iPod desktop thingy. XD

Use windex and a very soft cloth or cotton to wipe it with out scratching it

The dishwasher, but whatever you do don't go higher than 10k feet or below 32 degrees.

check i-hacked.com they have an article on eliminating scratches, its called brasco or something. check out that website and I can assure you that it works, ive tried it and it saved me money.
