This really works.
Do this with dry hair.
Take your bangs and comb them forward, Then take the hair and twist it tight so that it is twisted up to the scalp.
Cut a little off the bottom -- straight across.
When you untwist the hair you'll find that the bangs will slope down slightly on each side, being a little shorter in the middle.

If you cut them wet, don't cut too short. Wet hair (due to the weight) is longer and once your bangs dry, you'll end up wit a 5 yr. old girls look. If you don't like your forehead and have no intention of showing it, then cut them straight across.

if you don't want your forehead to reveal at all, cut them straight, if you like it to show just a little bit, you can also cut them in an angle, it looks very nice too, but if you cut them in an angle, go to a saloon (hairdresser) or something
don't cut it wet, maybe just a little bit damp (moisturized), and you might find it difficult to cut it yourself, so ask for some help instead of cutting it to short or in a "z" shape :)
I am sure you will look beautiful
good luck

I cut my bangs between hair cuts myself. I just cut a few strands at a time to make it look natural. That way, you can get a partial lift without getting the straight across look.

Hi, I don't think you yourself should cut your own bangs but I do think that if you really want you bangs cut then got to a stylist and maybe she/he will do exactly what you tell them that you think will look good. They also have books there and so they will have pictures of how they can cut your bangs.

I cut my bangs strait across, but mine are probably more wispy than yours, but I usually use pinking shears since it doesnt leave such an obvious strait line.
Be very careful cutting wet hair. As it dries, it shrinks. So perfect length bangs while wet may end up much shorter than you expected once dried.

Probably the angle. Do NOT get straight bangs.... not many people can pull those off.
