In everything i see and read geminis are very outgoing and energtic. Well I'm a gemini and I'm EXTREMELY shy and I've been this way well..my whole life. Does anyone know why this is?

your sun sign isnt the only sign that makes you. the rising sign (or ascendent) is the personality you give off to others which is usually different from the sun sign (the real you). Like for me my sun is in aries but my rising is virgo so people get this first impression of me that i am well put together, conservative, quiet and shy which is really not who i am once they get to know me. you also have a moon sign (emotional side of you), mars sign (passion), venus sign (love), mercury sign (communication), and the other planets which aren't as important as the ones i just mentioned because they are further from earth so they don't have as much impact on us. hope this helps!

No i don't. Most gemini's I met are loud mouths, and can never ever shut up.
