Achievements. When you're with another person, get into the habit of listening to what s/he says—take a real interest, and before long everyone will think you are a nice person to be with. It will show, and then you will feel better about yourself. Also people find a cheerful demeanor attractive.

If you think and talk about yourself all the time, it would turn people off and you would find yourself being rejected, which would be disastrous to your self-esteem.

Get focused, start feeling like you are 1st priority! Everyone, including me should just be the background! I don't mean be cocky or arrogant, but really see yourself as playing the lead role in your life. You said you are artistic before, so seeing yourself in a cinematic-type quality with the camera always on you should be easy.

do what i do:
me, me, me, and then me, me again, then once you think there's someone else on my list..... there's me again. Then me, then me, Then my boyfriend, then my family and friends, then me again.

You have to learn that there is no one or nothing more important than you. You deserve what you want, and you will get it. You have your profession, your intelligence, and your looks, don't forget that. That was all you, not anyone else. Just you. See? you CAN do it. all you have to do is KNOW that you can. Not think, but know. You are better, you're worth it, and you are good enough. Remember that.
