Well, an international high school that is US accredited would be able to guide your class choices so you don't have to take so many "make-up" classes. I would say that it would also help with your English, but your English is excellent.

The most important thing is that the guidance counsellor would be familiar with the US colleges, and helping students get into them. And many of your classmates may be US-college-bound (and have older siblings who have gone to college in the US), so they can give you advice and help.

The absolute best situation is to spend your last year of high school *in* a high school near the college you want to go to. You could take night classes from the college even in high school. And colleges often have a discount tuition for "resident" students -- that means students who have been living in the state for xx months. You could do this as a foreign exchange student either your last year, or after you finish your high school.

It depends very much on the college you want to go to, though. You should contact their admissions office, and find out the details.
