Personally I really don't care what happens to Saddam.. he was a horrible man that did horrible things to the people of his country and hopefully with our help they can step in and make their country better... The only person however that I care about is Bin Laden and his followers...

One way or another we - USA & UK, have created a monster of Iraq - it is really frightening that people who can make decisions like that to invade another country - actually have the responsibility of running our own! I regret to say that I believe the sentence passed on Saddam Hussain will cause a lot of deaths in Iraq - maybe tomorrow is the day their Civil War starts officially!

All of the analysts seem to think Iraq is going to implode if Saddam is executed, and the Iraqis are gearing up for escalated violence just over the verdict alone, so they seem to be in agreement as to the impact it will make on the populace.

I don't think anything that is done to/with him will make things better, frankly. Even people who hated him while he was in power have acknowledged that their lives were better before the US occupation, so it's hard to imagine things will be improved by an attempt to appease the masses with his death.

Saddam should never have been tried in Iraq! He should have been tried in the World Court!

He's going to get a fair trial!! Let me guess the verdict!!

You think it's bad now!! You have seen nothing yet! Wait until they execute him!! I would not want to be in-country!

I bet Saddam has a bigger following in Iraq than Bush does!

Are you kidding!! It would make alot of people be at ease from him but it may cause domestic problems because there are already people in Iraq that support Saddam who are bombing like crazy.

I really don't see things getting better any time soon. More problems are down the road. And it's going to get more ugly for a long time, before it gets better, in my opinion. We will have to wait and see the full effect of the verdict.

Its hard to tell. If he gets hung, he'll be made a martyr by some, others will gain closer and I‘m sure the ordinary folk in Iraq are to busy dodging bullets to care.
