a haircut makes all the difference.
and it matters what part of your face is the "biggest"
if your forehead is the biggest, try side bangs
if your cheeks are the biggest, try shaggy layers
if your chin is the biggest, try long layers
and don't have short hair. long hair will lenghten your face.

When you say big, do you mean round? If you do, there are a few ways you can decrease the "bigness" of you face. You can lowlight the jawline and neck area by using a darker powder or foundation and highlight your cheeks with a lighter color. You can also use illusion with haircolor by using a darker shade on the hair underneath and a lighter color on the top. Side bangs work as well but NOT a full bang, this will just work with the roundness of your face and not against it, and a hair style with a lot of layers in the font can help as well.

Your haircut could make a big difference. I suggest medium to long length hair, with side swept bangs and long layers. This will make your face appear smaller/thinner/longer, rather than circular. Hope this helps.
