I am looking for the names of the parts of armor of a mid-14th century knight.

Gorget, helm, breastplate, gauntlets, greaves -

also, "mail" is Old english for "chain", so calling it "chainmail" is like calling it "chain chain".

Mail shirt or mail is more proper.
