Buying a case on ebay is always great, and always put it as a carry-on (espessually for more expensive models!). Search yahoo shopping (my favorite ^_^) froogle, ebay, shopping.com. shopzilla, the list goes on. Good luck with your travels.

If I were you I would carry it on the plane, because those guys out there with the ear muffs just through your stuff around like its going out of style.
