The trolls and bashers take up room on my screen, and I'd happily delete them altogether if it were possible.

Right above the answers option, there's a bar that says, "show ratings higher than _", where you can set the rating level. Trust me, troll answers generally get such low ratings that they'll just drop off the visibile list once others notice them.

I've heard they are working on just such a solution that will allow us to remove the bashers questions and answers before we even see them with just a click.

I am totally with you. They are a waste of time. Although Yahoo is getting much better with suspending them and sending them violation notices. I would much rather not have them on my personal space, they are such a nuisance. Have a good day, though.

Not that I can figure out which is a shame. On AOL in chat rooms you can block people, and you can easily block IM's and emails. Yahoo has always been behind in this area. Let me know when you figure it out, I have a list going.

I don't think so, but I wish there were.
I think Da Ben Dan asked a question with a similar idea a couple of days ago, but I don't know if anything came of it - he was going to e-mail Yahoo with ideas for how to stop them.

dont let them get to you mate, theyre only making fools of themselves, and if you look at the ratio in this section "the bashers" are the minority.
