just about anything by Brand New is awesome. Some that i would recommend would be "Guernica," "Play Crack The Sky," "I Will Play My Game Beneath The Spin Light," "Okay, I Believe You But My Tommy Gun Don't," "The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot," "The No Seatbelt Song," and "Seventy Times 7." Also, there's a few by Fall Out Boy, Taking Back Sunday, Dashboard Confessional, Bright Eyes, and October Fall. Some of those that i'd recommend are...

Fall Out Boy - "Tell That Mick He Just Made My List of Things To Do Today," "It's Not A Side Effect of the Cocaine. I Am Thinking It Must Be Love." "I've Got A Dark Alley and a Bad Idea That Says You Should Shut Your Mouth (Summer Song)"

Taking Back Sunday - "You're So Last Summer," "Bonus Mosh, Pt. 2"..there's a few more, but i just can't think of the titles right now, sorry, but try the songs from their first album - Tell All Your Friends.

Dashboard Confessional - "The Best Deceptions" is a good one, so is "Screaming Infidelities". It might not be exactly what you're looking for, but maybe close...

Bright Eyes - "No Lies, Just Love" is my absolute favorite song by Bright Eyes. It's very sad, not so much about heartache, but it still just hits a nerve...

October Fall - "It Was Summer... (Baby Steps)," "Tongue Tied," and "If We're All Alone, Aren't We in This Together?"

oh! and one more! "Skeptics and True Believers" by The Academy Is...

also "I Don't Love You" and "Disenchanted" by My Chemical Romance

hope this helps some!

Neil Young's "Don't let it get you down"
" Don't let it get you down, it's only castles burning. Just find someone whose turning and you will come around." ( He also sang "Poor lonesome me"

Mama Cass "Words of love"
" Words of love, so soft and tender don't win a girl's heart anymore. If you love her than you must send her somewhere she's never been before. Worn out phrases and longing gazes won't win a girl's heart any more

and then there's

John Lenon's " Jealous Guy"
"I didn't mean to hurt you. I'm sorry that I made you cry. I didn't want to hurt you. I'm just a jealous guy"

These are my personal favorite, boo-hoo crybaby songs. I also liks Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight", & "Dust in the Wind by "Kansas"

John Mayer's got a song called "The Heart of Life."

It's on his new album, Continuum. Check it out, seriously, because it's been really helpful to me lately.
