I need to compile information for the years 2000-2006. I am looking for the following info:Population, avg. home price, median household income, price of stamps, gallon of gas, eggs and milk as well as top 5 TV favorites, news and headlines! Thank you sooooo much. This is for a scrapbook that I am giving my sister in law for her 30th Birthday :O)

May I suggest the Consumer Price Index info at the Department of Labor's site for the prices. The Census Bureau site will give some numbers concerning population (and a lot more). These are some good starting places. If you lose track of what is where and want some other but similar details, remember the government portal: Firstgov. Good luck.
