Starbucks is a good place for students to work.

Even better would be if you could find a job or internship someplace that will give you some experience or contacts relative to your future career. Talk to the school career center.

In school I made the mistake of thinking I couldn't take any internships or anything because I had to make money. In the end I maybe had some extra money for a couple years, but lost out on opportunities that could have helped me with my income for the rest of my life. I regret that now.

I worked in student activities at my community college. We made student ID's and planned school events like, spring fling parties, and set up blood drives. We were also the lost and found. I met a lot of people and the office was closed most of the weekend, only open a few hours on Saturday.

I work at home depot and I'm in college. Good luck with getting any job to let you off every other weekend though.

Try to find a job on campus, I have a lot of friends who work in libraries, food courts or dormitory center desks.

The library or bookstore. Almost everyone needs to go to the bookstore so you'll be able to meet tons of new people.

Night security guard inside a company office. Can sit around and work on your homework. You can also volunteer if you just want to meet people. http://www.volunteermatch.org
