Selfishness. I think it's at the core of most of those things, and its something that can be changed on an individual level. If nobody was selfish, none of those things would be problems.

Good question. Not sure there is a right or wrong answer. I would say poverty...because that goes hand in hand with hunger and malnutrition and education, which leads to the problems encountered such as racism.... and not one nation on this planet is exempt from poverty.

POPULATION. Today we have 6.5 billion with 5.3 billion living in poverty. 2050 the world population is to be 9+ billion with a higher percentage being in poverty.
The world is losing a lot of natural resources Water is already a
issue and how they are going to deal with it. Global Warming is a real problem in how it will change area.
Your question: what faces man kind, all has to do with out of control population.
If we don't start taking about POPULATION they are just spiting in the wind to solve any problem that is occurring now and will only get worse in the future.
No rational person puts more people on a sinking ship. Think about it.

Political leaders like in North Korea, Iran, Iraq, Central America, Venezuela to mention a few, where weapons are more important than farm machines, and other country's where corruption keeps people in poverty. Even in the U.S. where health care is to expensive for most, but Congress takes care of them selves first and forgets the rest..

Finding a way to not deplete the natural resources and ecology or the other creatures of planet Earth. Next would be to control and limit the geometric growth of the human population. Everything else falls into sub categories of the first two, and if we don't solve those, it will be finding somebody you can have for dinner.

I would say it is a spiritual warfare. The good versus the evil. Right now it is all run together as intended by those who wants us Christians to leave HIS word behind.

I would say greed. It is getting harder and harder to survive now, hence, many people (especially those in power) are finding out new ways and resources on how to better stay afloat economically. It is a dog-eat-dog world, as they say. And we are all trying to get to that last tasty bone of survival at any cost...unfortunately...

just to simply get along with other people. just about everything that is bad with this world revolves around people simply not getting along, which in turn causes greed, anger, jealousy, and hatred.
