At what temperature does carbon dioxide ionize into elemental constituents?

I would like to know whether CO2 can be ionized to beak it down into pure carbon and pure oxygen by heating, and whether that would occur at a low enough temperature that it could then be filtered to separate carbon from oxygen. Maybe the constituents could be seperated using an electric field?
