You should practice you instrument everyday. If you can't then you should put sticky notes everywhere in the house that you would normally go so you remind yourself everywhere.

Different people learn in different ways: Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic, etc.
Figure out your best means of learning and develop a plan to use that. For example, if you are an auditory learner, you might record your notes and listen to them. A visual learner might draw diagrams or pictures. A kinesthetic learner learns by touch, so they may need to be creative in making or finding things they can touch, move around, focus on, or even move their body into shapes that can help them remember. Auditory learners also respond to music.
Most people are visual learners, so note cards help them. 3x5 index cards are inexpensive. Write the question on one side and the answer on the other and practice going through them several times.
Good Luck!

You should have a printed schedule either posted in your locker or taped to the front of your binder (or whatever book you might carry to all of your classes). Or buddy up with someone who remembers to go to band class - not Jessa!!
