Hey A Babe. I think Sandy thinks you are asking about the hotel chain. I think you are asking about our weather. I live 1 hour from Calgary. We have weather that is always changing. Several nights ago it was - 15C and on Monday the forecast is for 17C. The warm weather in November is from a Chinook, & it always comes from the west. We can tell if there is one coming by the clouds over the mountains. They form what is called a Chinook Arch. Our winters can be very cold, but they can also be very warm. I think it was Christmas 1999, and we were playing softball Christmas day in our shorts. It was 20C (~70F)!! Some winter's the weather is -30C for weeks!!

Our springs are approach so quiet, you barely notice them coming. Before you know it, the tulips are poking through the ground.

Summers can be very hot, dry and windy. They were just that 3 years ago. Summers can be very cool and wet. In 2005 we had over 22'' of rain. Watch out for snow in the summer! Yes it can snow in the summer. In fact Calgary and area has received snow in every month of the year. I'm not saying it snows throughout the year, but some years it has snowed in August. Some years it has snowed in July. Other years it has snowed in June.

Our autumn is my favorite season. September is usually perfect weather for being outside. The days and hot and the nights are cool. We often get an "Indian Summer" which is an unseasonably warm period of weather that can last several weeks.

Hope this is of help
