A little bit scatterbrained. A person who sometimes doesn't quite know what they're doing or where they're going...why they walked into a room. They might misplace their keys a lot or burn the peas on the stove. They may talk really fast or take forever to tell a story because they get sidetracked on to other stories. They do all these things with a smile, however.
Ditzy can be a charming quality because the person seems to be having such a good time.
At least that's what I think of when I think of a ditzy person. Think of the actress Goldie Hawn in some of her movies from years ago. That's ditzy.

When I look in the mirror I see one everyday. I am ditzy for a number of reason. The number one reason is that I am naive; and I probably have AADD. Things seem to sink in slowly or not at all.
