I do enjoy Tanith Lee's series "The Claidi Journals." They're fantasy (not like... Eragon-type fantasy), and partially romance and adventure.
Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine
Goose Girl by Shannon Hale
Beauty by Robin McKinley
Jade Green by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor
The Gospel According to Larry by Janet Tashjian
Mary Higgins Clark isn't the best author, but her plots are good.
Meg Cabot's the Mediator series is fantastic as well.

I would have to say the Gossip Girl series by cecily von ziegearsar(I think I spelt her last name wrong), the series is very cool. Its about a girl named Blair who is with her boyfriend Nate being all happy - then her old friend Serena comes back to town. Blair finds out that summers ago Serena and Nate did it together when Nate was with Serena. I would tell you more...but I guess you just have to read the series!

My favorite book is from my childhood - The Princess and the Goblin by George MacDonald; first published in 1872. I read that it was one of Tolkien's favorites, as well.

it incredibly is a no longer common one using fact there are various large books obtainable to study yet as quickly as I had to point one e book everybody could desire to study: Tie between: the place the pink Fern Grows by capacity of Rawls The Hundred outfits by capacity of Estes person reads: Colin Dexter who did the Morse sequence featured on Masterpiece Theatre. Any of them are large yet do no longer study the final one first till you like anti-climax.
