When i was much younger i received a letter from sweep from the sooty show. That has to be up there with the best letters i've received. It had an autographed picture too.
Worst was a bank statement, simply because it got lost and arrived 7 months late!!

I once had a meeting with a teacher at college when I was doing my A levels, and she was in a foul mood and basically told me that I'll end up a hairdresser if I was lucky and I might as well quit and go on the dole. then she sent a letter through which were apparently the 'minutes' to cover her own @rse! I was so annoyed, there was nobody else there in the room and certainly no minutes being taken. She made out that I was being rude to her and she was trying to tell me my options, that really wound me up!

The best letter I have ever received has to be when I got the "Final" papers for my divorce from my first "marriage".

worst letter- a 6 page note from my old best friend telling me how she doesn't want to be my friend any more because I started going to church

Worst letter, One off my brothers bunny boiler girlfriend saying my brother didn't want to see me anymore, nice that she took it upon herself to get rid of his family and friends for him hey.
Best letter, The love letters my hubby gives to me at least once a week, he is a beautiful old romantic and his letters to me are beautiful.

The best letter was from my boyfriend (now my ex, but that's a different story), who was away for the summer, telling me how much he loved and missed me.
Worst letter... probably from another boyfriend I had a few years ago, telling me he'd found someone better.

worst letter - although it wasnt actually for me (!)
a friend of my fiances wrote to him declaring her love and telling him to dump me and be with her
how rude!to make it worse id known for ages what she was upto,call it womens intuition. But he was bloody clueless!
best- acceptance to uni maybe?

Best... anything from my Grandpa, I cherish it all, even the Christmas tags he writes on.
