i wud lyk to know how to apply eyeliner properly does any person out there have gud advice or links i can listen or luk at??

ok i have been doin eye liner for a while.... i kno this works but there are other ways to do it also...put you eyeshadow on first also.. i recommend retractable eyeliner.
1 put your finger (opposite eye oppostite hand) abt a cenimeter or less at the outside corner of your eye and move it outward so your eye is kinda closed...but it looks blury out of that eye. and ya kno put your eyebrow up like you are shocked or something lol
2 just out line the top and dont get it far up there.
3 now on the outside corner put the tip on the very end of the inside of your eyelid the part you can see (just like on the bottom except this is on the top) and kind of just not a lot but just go out of the outside of your eye toward your eyebrow. DO NOT GO FAR ONY ABT HALF A CENIMETER.
4 now on the bottom just sorta outline where your eye lashes start.

it depends whether u r using liquid or pencil. If you are using liquid place a thin line across your top eyelid, you could also use a kohl eyeliner pencil. Eyeliner on the top lid is especially beneficial to those who have small eyes as it makes your eyes appear bigger. Remember when applying mascara only apply it to your top lashes... applying it to your bottom lashes makes your eyes look smaller.

It depends on the style you want and if you are using pencil or liquid. Most people do a thin line on top and an even thiner line on the bottom. Try not to lift up the pencil (if thats what your using) so that the line looks more smooth. Practice, Practice, Practice... You'll get it. Good Luck!

okay go to the site seventeen.com,they DO give a video,and peopole talk to teel what they are doing,go to the besuty word on the top page,(DON'T CLICK) drag mouse,and a small down row thing will come ,pick beauty school,and there will be icons, to pick which tips you want to see, in the pick rectangel,of a girl smiling,that said video on it,by the side. click it and pick window media ,real player etc.. and the video will appear once clicking window media ,or real player ETC...
this will help you alot(the site is amazing,the beauty secrets part are the best toooooo.!)

In my opinon, if you really feel like you can't put on eyeliner at all, then maybe you should have a friend do it. If that fails, you can always go to any makeup store and they will show you.

try applying liquid liner to ur upper lids and use a wet q-tip a fix any mistakes. then dip the other end in a matching poder eyeshadow and trace over liner to set it.

It is hard but try to make the line as thin and the same as possible. u will be good at it after a few times

practise practise practise!
make sure you have a decent eyeliner in kohl, Mac do good ones. They have a website , i think the adress is http://www.maccosmetics.com, if not just google uk Mac and it should come up. They have videos on http://www.youtube.com on how to apply eyeliner. Look it up.

just be very brave use the hand your holding the eyeliner with to pull down the bottem of your eye i use my finger closes to my baby finger to hold my eye down good luck
