yeah it would be very tricky to find a keyboard so i would buy a new one, u could try and lift the key off to make sure there is nothing on the sensor causing a problem.

Keyboard maintenance on laptops are a sticky drawback (no pun meant.) The forums are skinny and inclined to breaking if they're hit difficult. You have one truly choice to check out earlier than you have got to ship it in. Get a few cans of compressed air (availble at many workplace deliver shops) and switch the computer the other way up (make certain it's became off first.) Using the little straw nozzle, spray round each and every of the keys. DO NOT SHAKE THE LAPTOP! Continue till you get not more junk out. Turn the computer proper facet up and provide it a take a look at. If this does not repair it, the one choice you've left is to ship it in for cleansing/maintenance.

use the other shift key and control key... there are 2 of them...
if you spilled something in the keyboard or smoke or have pets there may be a lot of crud under the keys...take a tooth pick pop the keys in question out and clear anything under there...if thats not the problem then head on down to wal-mart get yourself a 5 dollar keyboard...and life is good again...

it's really hard to fix a keyboard, and you can get a keyboard for less then $10 it is easier to buy a new keyboard.

however, you would need more info on why it doesn't work before I could give a good answer, but I would try using canned air to see if it needs to be cleaned out
