Is it true that if you're a valedictorian then you go to college for free? Not just a state college? (I'm just wondering)

no you dont go to college for free, but you have a good chance at getting a lot more scholarships than everyone else, so you might get a few free semesters or a couple of years of reduced tuition if you have good grades. but you definitely dont get to go for free for all 4 years unless you get a CRAPLOAD of scholarships, but i've never seen this happen before.

Not necessarily. However, some scholarships use it as a means of choosing who they will give the scholarship to. It is assumed that if you are the top in your class, you will also be applying for scholarships.

Good Luck!
