I have an office desk chair. I release the lever on the right of the chair and it comes to full height. As time passes and it is occupied--the chair sinks (maybe an hour or so). Is there some seals that should be replaced or is there some liquid that should be replenished. There is no liquid leaking out of it nor is there any signs of liquid on the outside of the chair.

I think your chair is telling you it's time to cut down on the Oreos.

Unless it is an expensive quality chair, it is easier to replace it. But I can suggest you find the height you like and cut a wood block to fill in the space-- attach a plastic tie to hold it in place to keep the seat from sinking. A temporary fix but it will work for awhile.

The hydraulic lift seal has failed. I honestly don't know if you can replace it or not. I've thrown away good chairs because of this problem.

Yeah, I could use a few less cookies too.

sounds like a seal in the chair's hydrolics is short. replace the chair to simply get used to sitting in it at tis lowest level
