Consider myself both Irish and Scottish even if my ancestry is Scottish, because they both came from the same people; the Celts? I'm really confused with this, because I want to be both and I tell everyone I'm both but I don't know if they basically are the same people, aside from location and religion.

Yes. Scots went from Ireland to Scotland 1500 years ago, and there was plenty of cross-pollination in between.

why do you want to include the Irish? I think they have a fabulous culture too. In any case, I would suggest your response to queries about your heritage be something like " Celt, by way of the Scots, Irish by way of the heart."

YES !! it's ok to do i am Scottish all-sow! probably a little irish!! I am of an islander blood!!
I bet you do Al sow!! you can get your blood tested to see what kid of islander you are but-no gentries on what kind i bet your real ted to me some how!!

It makes no difference what you tell people..I'm such a mixture I have a little bit of everything in me. You should care about your charachter more than your content.
