I'm no longer replying to the comments that are obvious gay bashers. I will respond if it's a comment that's made solely out of ignorance, if the person appears to have no malice.
These people change IDs a lot, and Yahoo doesn't seem to care much.

I didn't at first, but I do now, more often than I answer them. Some of them I can't even face reading, though.
(I've reported about 20 in the last week, but only received 2 confirmation e-mails from Yahoo - does that mean the other reports were ignored?)

Wow, no longer that undesirable an incident. replaced into strolling up a highway in a 'gay' neighbourhood at night and a dismal van with blacked-out residing house windows replaced into inching up the line beside me. They then immediately grew to become good basically before me into an alley. I friggin' bolted it up the line for 3 blocks to the 'substantial' highway with lotsa lights and shops. In Vacouver BC between the flaws bashers do is that: circle their 'prey' and then attack en masse! Friggin' cowards. If it replaced into one-on-one i ought to take 'em. they're cowards and that they arrive in communities. The police listed under are relatively a lot greater suitable than in greater than a number of cities. they're going to come and the interplay sounds like 80% constructive and 20% detrimental for the sufferers.

I am in total agreement with you, we are being discriminated against and it is sickening, no you are not the only one reporting them. :) I am part of Human Rights Campaign and am thinking about taking this issue to a higher power, there is way too much hatred on this site and we don't deserve that. You are absolutely right, they continue to change their ID's, that is when you report them as cloning, I guess you already know that, but for those that don't, that is my suggestion. Yahoo seems not to care about it's decent users, they allow all kinds of hatred and violence to occur here. Keep on reporting, Brother, don't give up the fight, we will win. It is just going to take some time. Homophobia went out with the '60's, LOL.

I usually just ignore them....but the ones that really don't ask a question, or ask something really stupid, like what happens when you feed gays to the dogs? To me that is a deranged person and they get reported.
Not only do I feel like I'm back in junior high, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out why they waste their time... I'm older, and get on here to wind down enough to get to sleep, and enjoy most of the questions and answers. I guess we can chalk it up to bad parenting, or the lack or parenting... We were taught to be respectful of everyone's opinions, even if we didn't agree with it... it seems that in today's world it's only their opinion that counts... Thanks for the excellent question....

I am sorry. I have not reported them because I usually just ignore them. If I see one, I will report abuse though. This is a legitimate site and some people will use it to make hateful comments just like they do on all the culture and society slot.
p.s. If you go to the bottom of your screen you will see a place where you Yahoo asks how to improve their site. Click on that and a preference bar will come up. You can block profanity, etc. Give it a try. I just found it which is why I am editing my statements.

I don't report the bashers or reply to them. If Yahoo! hasn't done something about them by now they aren't going to do anything about them. The only reason I'm still here is because there is the occassional person that really needs help.

Yahoo rarely acts on reports, i suppose its there to make us feel like we've done something. Face it, Yahoo jumps when right wing nut jobs complain, they drag their feet when their victims do.
So, I still report the haters, just on the off chance Yahoo will make this a better site for ALL (and not a free for all for haters and unsupervised children).

Don't comment to the trolls. Just RAMO----report abuse, move on. Aggressive reporting of viciousness CAN help clean up Yahoo answers, and repeaters can be suspended....but first, YAT needs to be flagged....
If it violates community guidelines or terms of service, RAMO.

I was going to say they change ID's as often as they do their underwear, but I have a feeling that they don't change them any too often. I suppose it is better they say what they do on here than trying to hit you from behind some night. They would never dare say those things to your face. The gays I knnow work out regularly and would make mince meat out of them in a good old knuckle and skull brawl.

I report 'em whenever I see 'em, and yes you are correct. The Yahoo Answers staff does nothing about this problem. It seems that homophobia and racism are accepted her in this so-called family oriented forum.
