Completely wrong decision by Louis. Ashley has so much more to give. He should have been given the chance to sing something in the genre that suits his voice

I agree with Louis actually.
The problem with Ashley was that he didn't seem to be that bothered. Robert is clinging to every straw he has and every time he is on the stage he gives his all. That is the main reason behind the decision tonight.
I think Ashley is excellent and I think he will get a record contract anyway.
When you say angry with the result, you have to remember that the reason he was there in the first place is that the majority of people did not think he was good enough. Fact.
I think your right in saying that with the right genre he is amazing, what were they doing with stupid Abba songs anyway. But you could tell with Ashley if he didnt like the song, he just would not make the effort

I'm not angry - louis was bound to vote tactically as Simon would have kept four acts and Sharon would only have had one.
He forgot his words again, which no-one seemed to notice - it's not as big a travesty as when Louis kept the conways over Maria.
At the end of the day it's a TV show and i've become convinced that regardless of who wins come January 2008 they'll have been dropped by their label.

Sorry Jenna, but Ashley failed to pull 'it' out of the bag both last week and again tonight.
However, in his defence, I would say that Simon put the nail in his coffin - that song was SO, SO wrong for Ashley.
And I have to agree with you when you say he should have been given the chance to sing something in the genre that suits his voice.

yeh. i loved ashley so much. cried for a total of 55 minutes last night - i just though he was amazingly different and should have gone further.
i can't help thinking that it was tactical voting from Louis.
but still, the British public should be properly to blame, because the McDonald Bros and Nikitta are still in the competition.
I'm sure they are really nice people, but they are not good or different enough to be in at this stage in the comp.

absolutley agree!! Ashley is alot better than most of the ones still in the competition. We all know Louis saved Robert so that Sharon wasn't left with just 1 act. I think the show is a fix - I can't believe the MacDonald brothers are still there.

No sorry I feel that Ashley's performance tonight was poor, I'm surprised he didn't get voted out last week. I hop that Robert or Ben goes through and win.

I only heard the final two singers and lets be honest Ashley was awful, Louis stuck by his word to go on the final performance and got it right

The McDonald brothers were bad but Ashley was TERRIBLE! Both times he was completely out of tune for half the song. He is too full of himself too, did you see how stunned he was when he was in the last two. He so didnt expect it.
I hope that cocky little Rice Krispie elf guy is voted out next week, I cant bear him. :)

No I think Ashley was an arrogant, talentless idiot who should have been voted off so much earlier in the competition
