Copper is a pretty good bet for electrical wiring.
Red pigment is often made from Iron Oxide.
Platinum is used as a catalyst in many places.
Silver has been known to have some uses in photography.
Iron is a component of hemoglobin
tungsten makes a bright white light when carrying electricity.
Mercury thermometers are not all that common anymore, but are quite accurate.

I'll try my best here i guess..

a) Usually tungsten
b) Platinium is used as catalysts in catalytic converters
c) Copper and Silver are good conductors. Silver is less commonly used as it has a higher demand elsewhere (on necks n wrists..) n it is more expensive.
e) I remember cobalt-60 is used in chemotherapy, and it emits gamma radiation. perhaps find something tt can have similar purposes.
g) mercury
i) a silver compound is used in photographic films (at least in the past) as it decomposes with light.
j) mm...perhaps you can find something in the list that emits alpha-radiation. Alpha radiations have great ionising effects and ionises the air, allowing a current to flow along these ionised air. When smoke particles (they are relatively big) interrupts this flow of current, the alarm goes off. That's how smoke detectors work.

Hope this helps=)
