I have an old windows 98 that i just like to mess around with. i have all of the parts for it but when i go to turn it on it wont start up. i tried to use the start up floppy but that didnt work. i found a website that you can make a disc to start it up but i dont know if it is a trustable site. can you tell me if i should download the thing from the website or if you have any better ideas tell me. thanks.

I would suggest taking out your OS installation CD (the CD that you used to install Windows 98 on your computer with) and just reinstall your computer.

First of all please tell us more information.

Does it display any error messages at all?

We cannot help you to fix it if you don't tell us exactly what is wrong.
