Usually, only two times....sometime three, but never more than that.

In a house with 5 people....and 3 of them under 6 years old....we try to keep the wash down.

This is a curious question since you are drying a clean body. As long as it dries well in between uses, 2-3 days.

Hand towels and wash cloths, dish towels, etc. should be washed everyday.

Generally, twice, unless the house is so humid that it's not drying properly. In that case, I'll wash the towel.

I shower daily, then hang my towels on hooks on the back of my bedroom door so they can dry good, but I usually wash them two - three times a week.

Twice is the limit in my house. With 6 people you do what you can to keep the laundry pile down. On the other hand they may not dry enough to be used a third.
