the Know-Nothing Party you support gay rights, but you're okay with allowing women to murder their own children on a whim; note that, statistically, 10% of those children are gay... you want us to pay for health care for everyone, so that no one realizes how much anything really costs, administrated by the federal government, which is already borrowing 40 cents out of each dollar it spends. Why does national bankruptcy attract you so much? you believe the global warming hoax (dude, please, do some research: their climate models are more incorrect than random numbers generators!)(they can't even reproduce known results) you support embryonic stem cell research despite the fact that over a decade's-worth of research in that area has yielded nothing, whereas adult stem-cell and auto-stem cell (using the patient's own) is already being used successfully. you don't understand the war in Iraq, which means you haven't been paying attention. you still think Communism is a viable government system, despite everything we know about the USSR, Red China, North Viet Nam and North Korea? are you developmentally disabled??? Communism CANNOT work (except for the oligarchy at the very top) because it doesn't take into account what human nature actually is. That's an insurmountable flaw.

This would definitely be the Republicans. Democrats believe in freedom of choice and science. Republicans believe in strong structure and religion. Even the diversity between political parties are part of the debate that lead us to the question, "Why are we here, and how should we live life?"

It is part of the Republican platform to "Support voluntary student-initiated prayer in school."

The Constitution prohibits mandated school prayer in public schools.

Democrats believe that defending the separation between church and state is neither a Democratic nor a Republican idea, but an American idea.

OK, if you want a theocracy move to the mid-east! Other than that, neither party had better be for mandatory school prayer as it was in the 50's and 60's. Don't get me wrong all you Bible thumpers can meet me under the bleachers and pretend to pray to your God. because when I was in school the churchies were always the ones having sex.

Hopefully, they all do. What I am against is a state prayer or a prayer of just one denomination. What I am for is the moment of silence when a student can reflect on his own religious beliefs without being ostracized.

I grew up in Virginia and we had a moment of silence every morning so if you wanted to pray before the day started you had that choice. I am a Republican and I think that would still be a proper thing to do, but I am told by Democrats that it would infringe on others rights, no one has explained how though

To which God or religion are you referring too? I'm a Christian and I don't believe in prayer in school because my children might have to pray to Mohammad,Buddha or any other God. I wouldn't like that. There is plenty of time to pray at home,in a church or the street corner !

It doesn't really matter which party supports school pray, what matters is the motivation.supporting school prayer is a political maneuver. On its own school prayer is of no value except rouse political passions.bear with me for a moment.Prayer is your one on one time with God.nothing should interfere with this.when people encourage school prayer they are in essence encouraging Pharisaic behavior.the kind of prayer that says to other people look at me I am praying to God or yo can do as Christ employs as -to pray in secret to our father who is in heaven. This is what He practiced would you be like Christ or like the Pharisee?

Ronald Regan did and he was the last President to bring back prayer to school.

Today a president does not feel that he would be elected If he supports school prayer
