Absolutely.
That's why they say that time lends perspective.
My divorce was the most horrible thing I ever experienced -- *while* I was experiencing it.
Now I am grateful every day that it happened. My children express their happiness, my ex has become a better father because of it, and he and I both have wonderful, happy marriages.

Only all the time-it's called life. From the moment of birth it is human nature to fight change, but each change and challenge bring us to where we are supposed to be. It may be good, bad, painful or rapturous each change we face shapes the person we are if we went back and changed one we would forever effect the rest. It is the journey we travel that makes us who we will be remembered as.

Yep! I hated getting dumped by my ex at the time, but looking back it was the best thing that ever happened to me. He was a mooch and a lazy jerk. Now I'm married to a really wonderful man.

Yes , definetely. I used to be addicted to drugs and alcohol. I got straightened out and was glad because of the experience I believe I have become a better person.

absolutely,,, i dated this guy for like a year and a half and he meant the world to me, but one day he just broke up with me and i couldnt seem to get over him, and i seriously hated him for about 6 months after that...but now when i look back on it and on everything that i went through trying to get over him, i realize that i wouldnt be who i am today without that situation, and i wouldnt be as close to GOD without going through the struggles that our relationship caused me...
