well make sure the old background is completely deleted and there is no html in the way to block the new html background from coming up codes need to stay together if you still cant get it email me and ill try to help mjluikens@santel.net

Are you making sure to delete your old codes and save changes before you view? If so, maybe you just got a bad layout code.

You either didn't delete your old coding or you forgot a bracket or something in your new coding. Also, you have to go to "view my profile" in order to actually see the changes. They don't show up on the screen that you are taken to when you log in.
