I had it done a few years ago, and the actual treatment time is only a few minutes. I was there longer, because I wanted sedation (I HATE people messing with my eyes!) and it took about 45 mins for the pill to kick in.

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be... I didn't feel a thing!

The laser is applied for about 45 to 55 seconds per eye, but the pre-op and post-op procedures are naturally tailored to your particular needs as a patient, and to avoid any chance of infection during the first 24 hours of healing. Expect to focus your entire day solely on your procedure and healing. You'll then have 24-48-72 hour follow-ups, normally.

My friend had laser surgery and it took about 20-40 mins. she was at home and functional that night. She loves it. and says it is worth it. Just remember to research your doctor and try to go to a doctor that has a Fixed laser not a portable laser

It took 10 minutes for each eye when I had it done. I was in the office for under an hour. That included paperwork and all.
