Yes. I need to find out what kind of food people ate during the war. Not the soldiers IN the war, what people not in the war ate. And also I need to know what kind of candy kids ate. What kind of sicknesses among the people not in the war there was. What kind of medicines and such. thank you! Your answers are valued. If possible, please give me evidence of your information. :)

well for the most part, people ate much as we do today, depending upon the area concerned. For example, the north ate bread, cheese, etc while down south, they ate those southern dishes such as corn n the cob, mashed potatoes, fried chicken, etc. The kids ate peppermint sticks, hard candy, chocolate, rock candy, and various other types, depending upon the region and the socioeconomic status of the concerned group.
