My feet have a tendancy to be extremely dry in winter as well. As a consequence, I pamper them every time I bathe.

I have a metal foot file that I use to get rid of rough or thickened skin. Soak in the tub for the duration of your bath, then just before you are ready to get out of the tub, scrub your feet with the file. Be careful to not scrub healthy skin too hard. These files are like mini graters and can cause damage to normal skin, so be careful.

After drying off and dressing, I put a lot of lotion on my feet. I find Jergen's for extra dry skin the best because it doesn't leave any oily deposit behind. Then I put on a pair of cotton socks to help my feet stay moist.

Doing this daily has made a big difference in my feet, which are never dry and scaly anymore.

The cooler weather will make skin dry more.

Give your feet a good soak ./...exfoliate your feet...buff the soles...then apply lots and lots of Vaseline on them..cover with saran warp..and socks. Sleep with them like that..the next morning they will be much better.

If they are really bothering you..invest in going for a intense pedicure that envoles a good mask over your feet. When you have finsihed your appointment, your feet will feel soo smooth and lovely. Then you just apply a good foot cream nightly..and make sure you keep up with sloughing off the DEAd skin on the heels.

I am a professional manicurist and I suggest that you find a good thick foot cream(it doesn't have to be expensive, just something from drug store) and apply at night before bed and then put on socks while you sleep. The socks will keep the moisture in and your feet will have many hours to absorb the moisture!!!

Give yourself a pedicure!!! Soak your feet in warm soapy water for a while in order to soften some of the dead skin. Apply some facial scrub (Or at least body wash) to a pumice stone and SCRUB, SCRUB, SCRUB- everywhere you usually see dry skin. Don't forget the skin around your toenails! When you dry off, apply some lotion and then . . . (Here's the real SECRET. . .) BABY OIL GEL.

Use a lotion with tea tree oil in it. You can get it at a Bath & Body store or Linens & Things. Or, use original Eucerin lotion or cream. It's all worked for me.

Vaseline is your answer. Put it on your feet after moisturizing and then put your feet in a pair of old socks. wear til morning. Do this every night and you are sure to have perfect beach feet.

Arbonne International and Avon both have great foot creams. Actually, they have whole foot treatment sets. I think they work really well.
