My opinion is either 23.Why? MICHAEL JORDAN'S numbers were 23 and it was retired by Chicago Bulls.
But if you want to be original pick your own number.
Be yourself, and enjoy basketball. You might get alot of pressure if you pick Michael Jordan's number .What I mean is most basketball fans identify number 23 with
Air Jordan. I believe your high on 32 stick with it,for
your gut reaction is usually the best. Also the number is important but being a great player is more important.
Be yourself, don't miss practices, play hard, and listen to your coach.Be the best you can be,like Air Jordan was
passing to open player and sharing the spotlight with your
teammates. Be open to new ideas from your coach.

The overall opinion appears to be 23, however it seems to me that an athlete chooses a number because of its availability, its popularity or its ability to identify an individual. Choose the number that offers all those benefits, #32. Its available, you like it, it's a number that is popular and has been worn be some pretty respectable ball players, and lastly for all those who believe Mr. #23 was the greatest that ever played.....it's the inverse of that number. Here's to averaging a triple double thru your ball career!!

Pick a number no one has. Make your own dent don't try to imitate.
If you have to pick a player though. I like 0 for gilbert and 13 for Wilt.
